Terms of Service

Last updated: October 13, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this website and any services, sessions, programs, community memberships, and text message programs offered by Business Operations Network ("BON," "we," "us," or "our"), 4736 Royal Ave, #109149, Eugene, OR 97402, United States. By using this website, submitting a form, booking a session, making a purchase, or opting in to our messages, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

If you sign a separate written agreement with us, such as a proposal, statement of work, or service agreement, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide business operations consulting, project planning, fractional operations support, business dashboards and reporting, content audits and planning, AI and automation implementation, related advisory services, and an online community. Descriptions on this website are general. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement are set out in your proposal or agreement.

2. No guarantee of results

We work to help you improve your business, but results depend on many factors outside our control, including your decisions, your team, your market, and the information and access you provide. We do not guarantee any specific outcome, including revenue, profit, growth, savings, leads, or performance. Testimonials on this website reflect the individual experiences of past clients and are not a promise or prediction of your results.

3. Not legal, financial, or other licensed advice

Our services are business and operational in nature. We do not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, insurance, employment-law, medical, or regulatory compliance advice, and nothing we provide should be relied on as such. You are responsible for consulting qualified licensed professionals before acting on matters in those areas.

4. Bookings, payments, and refunds

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Unless your agreement says otherwise, fees are due in advance and are processed by third-party payment providers. You are responsible for any third-party software, subscription, hosting, API, or usage costs required for your project.

BON Visibility Audit. The $250 fee covers the intake, platform review, one session of up to 60 minutes, and a written summary. If you sign an implementation agreement with us within 30 days of your session, the fee is credited toward that project. The credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred. You may reschedule once with at least 24 hours' notice. If you cancel at least 48 hours before your session, we will refund the fee. Once the session has taken place, or if you miss it without notice, the fee is non-refundable.

Projects and ongoing services. Project payment schedules are set out in your agreement. Monthly or recurring services renew automatically until cancelled with 30 days' written notice. Fees already paid for work performed or for a current billing period are non-refundable. We may pause work if a payment is more than 10 days late.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, timely access to the people and systems we need, and timely feedback and approvals. You are responsible for reviewing and approving deliverables before you use them, for decisions you make based on our work, for keeping your own backups of your data and systems, and for your business's compliance with the laws that apply to it, including privacy, marketing, email, and text messaging laws for your own communications with your customers.

6. Access to your systems and data

You keep ownership of your data. Where possible, you will grant us access through delegated user accounts, authorization flows, or other secure methods rather than sharing passwords. You confirm that you have the right to share any data you give us access to, including personal information about your customers, team, or members, and that you have provided any notices and obtained any consents required to do so. We are not responsible for data loss, outages, errors, or changes caused by you, your team, or third-party platforms, or for changes those platforms make to their features, access, or pricing.

7. AI tools and automations

Some services use artificial intelligence and automation tools provided by third parties. AI-generated content and analysis can be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, and automations can fail when connected services change. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before relying on it or sharing it, and for keeping appropriate human oversight of automated processes. We are not liable for errors, outages, or decisions of third-party AI or automation providers.

8. Third-party platforms and links

Our website and services rely on third-party providers, such as scheduling, CRM, payment, video meeting, community, and analytics platforms. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

9. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, graphics, logos, and the BON name and marks, belongs to us and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

Once you have paid in full, you own the deliverables created specifically for you, such as your reports, plans, SOPs, and dashboards. We keep ownership of our pre-existing and general materials, including frameworks, methods, templates, checklists, code, workflows, prompts, and know-how, and we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them as part of your deliverables for your own business. We may continue to use our general skills, knowledge, and non-confidential learnings in our work for others.

10. Confidentiality

We keep your non-public business information confidential and use it only to provide our services. This does not apply to information that is public, that we already had, that we receive lawfully from someone else, or that we are required by law to disclose. We will not name you as a client or use your results publicly without your permission.

11. BON Community

The BON Community is hosted on a third-party platform and is also subject to that platform's terms. Memberships are billed monthly until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time through the platform. We do not refund partial billing periods. Community content is for general education and discussion only. We may remove any member who is disrespectful, spams, promotes unrelated offers, or shares other members' information without permission.

12. Text messaging (SMS) program

Program. Business Operations Network offers text messages to people who opt in through our website forms or booking pages. There are two types of messages, and you choose each one separately:

  • Service messages: replies to your inquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, and updates about your project or account.
  • Marketing messages: occasional invitations to events and sessions, community updates, and offers.

Consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. You can still contact us and use our services without opting in.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.

Opting out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that. To join again, opt in through our website or reply START.

Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected].

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy. Your mobile information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share mobile numbers or text messaging opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

13. Email communications

If you contact us, book a session, or sign up for updates, we may email you about your request, your services, and, where permitted, our events and offers. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. We will still send messages needed to provide services you have requested.

14. Acceptable use of this website

You agree not to misuse this website, including by submitting false information, attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping it in bulk, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Services are provided as described in your agreement, without any other warranty.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising from or related to this website or our services, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to this website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the three (3) months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) if you paid nothing.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Business Operations Network and its owners, members, contractors, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of our website or services, your data or content, your business operations or communications with your customers, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

18. Independent relationship

We provide services as an independent business. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between you and us.

19. Dispute resolution

If a dispute arises, please contact us first. Both parties agree to try in good faith to resolve it informally for at least 30 days. If it is not resolved, it will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules, held in Lane County, Oregon, or by video conference, before a single arbitrator. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek court relief to protect its intellectual property or confidential information. Claims must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding, and you waive any right to a jury trial.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the dispute resolution section, the state and federal courts located in Lane County, Oregon have exclusive jurisdiction.

21. General

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to a successor business. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any signed agreement, are the entire agreement between us about their subject.

22. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted, with the date at the top of this page. Changes do not affect fees or obligations already agreed in a signed agreement.
